After over two decades of East Coast experience fronting bands as a rock vocalist, serving as band leader, business manager and music arranger, Dorien as a solo artist belts out Heartland Rock of the 70’s through 2000’s with power, heart and passion, featuring the music of Tom Petty, Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Billy Joel, Elton John and Bryan Adams, with a sprinkling of contemporary choices in country and pop including Chris Stapleton and Whiskey Myers. She uses backing tracks and does her own sound and effects. Her voice is contralto profundo meaning she can handle most any male rock vocals you can think of so throw away anything you thought you knew about females in the rock circuit. Dorien’s recording credits include studio work with Harry Casey and a long stint of recording originals with Producer/Writer Elliott Glenn at Fly Studios in Brooklyn.
